Hero Moto plans Rs 2,500 crore capex for next two fiscals

Emami to explore new overseas manufacturing units

Description : FMCG company Emami Limited is exploring options to set up new manufacturing units in international markets to meet the growing demand.The company, which now has a single manufacturing unit in Bangladesh, is also stepping into the African markets of Nigeria and Ghana by launching products, it said in its annual report.Director of Emami Prashant Goenka said, ?Emami will strengthen its position in the existing markets and also simplify logistics in Russia.
 
Garment exports likely to register 15-18 per cent growth

Description : India?s garment exports are expected to register a 15-18 per cent growth in FY 18 as against USD 17 billion registered last year, a senior government official said here. ?We have clocked 18 per cent growth in garment exports since January 2017 and we hope that similar trend may continue for remaining period this year. Last year our garment exports stood at USD 17 billion,? Textile Commissioner Kavita Gupta said. She was speaking after inaugurating the 65th national garment fair here.
 
Chinese firm signs deal worth $22.8 billion with Airbus

Description : A Chinese aviation company has signed an $22.8 billion agreement to purchase 140 planes from Airbus, an official statement said today. The deal with China Aviation Supplies Holding Company involves purchase of 100 Airbus A320 planes and 40 A350 jets, the state-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission statement said. Bharti Airtel to spend Rs 2k cr

Description : The country?s largest telecom operator, Bharti Airtel on Wednesday announced plans to invest Rs 2,000 crore over the next three years in its bid to upgrade customer experience. The company launched Project Next, which is its digital innovation programme aimed to enrich customer experience including transforming its in-store experience. Nalco, IDCO to set up Aluminium Park in Angul

Description : New Delhi, Jul 7 (PTI) Nalco, in collaboration with Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation, is setting up the first of its kind Aluminium Park in Angul, the state government said today. Investment to the tune of Rs 180 crore will be made on infrastructure of the project which is expected to generate 15,000 jobs. Odisha currently contributes about 54 per cent of Indias total aluminium smelting capacity.
